I'll be a GEEK by then!
Thursday, October 20, 2011 | posted by bubbles

OMG. It's been a while. 2 Months? Gaaah! :face73: I've been so busy studying and twittering, I somehow forgot I own a blog. Shame. :face23:

Anyway, I am currently studying for the National Medical Admission Test or NMAT this coming December and I must say, this whole time, I have to commend myself, because first of all, I am self-studying, YES I AM. And second of all, because of the determination, perseverance and hard-work I've been putting to my studies, its paying me off considerable amount of free time to watch TV, tweet and just enjoy a bum life by getting the right answer to SOME of the stressful problems I have to solve everyday on my practice sets. Although I have to say, for the most part, I always struggle especially with the formulas and everything, but I have this persistence in me that always prompts me to not give up too quickly because the answer is probably right in front of me! So, Yay for me! :face75:

This week, Im very much proud to say that I can finally solve problems I can't even managed to answer and have always relied on sheer luck when I was in High school -- even College! like Chemistry, Physics and of course, Math problems, which is my least favorite subject. Of all time. Im not very good at Math. I mean I was never good at it! Worst, actually and VERY confused. :face32: I mean Im not really "in" the circle with the "Geeks" since, pretty much when I was born? :face75: and honestly, I consider myself mingling more on the "artistic side" from the very start.:face71: So it's right to say that I am a DUM when it comes to anything Math. But in all honesty, I am really trying my VERY best and Im being VERY persistent (to be a Geek? No!) to solve these mind-boggling problems that haunt me every day when I face my practice sets. And look what it did me! As a result, I can answer SOME of it correctly. Ha! And because I've always been motivated by the desire to do a good job at whatever position Im in, I definitely think I'll come around SOON enough. :face40:

I'll be a GEEK by then! :face53:

Oops. I'll be doing Riska's Tag tom! bintang

The Hunger Games trilogy is sure to be EPIC!
Tuesday, July 12, 2011 | posted by bubbles

So I said that I'll be on hiatus again, but here I am with a new post. :face49: Ha! I think I should stop saying that. :face53:

I can't believe the Harry Potter film series is about to end on the 15th. :face22: Although I am beyond excited to watch part 2, Im also sad because its the final, and after that, Na-da. :face22: Its hard when you became so attached and be incredibly hooked with film series, you always get this feeling like, being excited watching the first that you can't wait for months anticipating the next, and then go over this feelings again and again until you know that at some point, it has to end. And it will. On the 15th. Im sure every HP fan out there's feeling the same way I do. :face22: As you may do not know, I've been a fan since I read book 1 all the way up to book 7 and I've watch as much HP movies that I can in a day. Also Im just as stoked as a fan whenever the films are released. So you prolly get why Im sad about it. Surely, as 15 ends, it will be sad but again, I should be happy for the final installment because I know it will be awesome. Oh, Im going to cry after the movie's finished for sure and I think after realizing that there will be no more "anticipating" for another, this will need me some getting use to. :face22:

Anyway, the Twilight Saga is about to be over soon. And I don't care much. Don't get me wrong, I love the book and all, but this films never like, trigger feelings I have like that for the Harry Potter films. Yeah, I do enjoy the love affair between Edward, Bella and Jake, but I don't know, maybe it's not really that "epic" to me. So much so, speaking of epic, I just finished Suzzanne Collins' The Hunger Games trilogy which after I read, I considered another epic story next to HP. :face17: Gosh, I loove this story I can't even go to sleep at night without re-reading my favorite chapters of the books. LOL. And! I even named my new pillow as one of the protagonist in the story. I know, Im a crazy girl and Im that obsessed with books, so don't remind me. LOL. Anyway, I heard that this will be adapted into a movie! 2012 release! Yes! And I CANNOT WAIT! This is surely-to-be-epic! :face66: I know you guys will surely love it! It has an addictive quality, especially with the first, action and of course young love. Oooh, not to forget, the actors who'll portray in the movie! :face50:Aaaaahhhh! I cannot wait!

:103::103::103::103::103::103::103::103::103:
Here let me share you the plots of each book and the main characters.

:82: The Hunger Games: The Hunger Games follows 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen, a girl from District 12 who volunteers for the 74th Hunger Games in place of her younger sister Prim. Also participating from District 12 is Peeta Mellark, a boy who loved Katniss the moment he laid eyes on her. As Katniss and Peeta battle the other tributes together, they pretend to be madly in love to gain favor with the audience. When the Gamemakers try to force the pair into a dramatic finale where one must kill the other to win, they threaten suicide and are subsequently both declared winners.

:83: Catching Fire: Katniss learns that the Capitol is angry at her for her defiance in the previous novel, which started a chain reaction that inspired rebellion in the districts. For a special 75th edition of the Hunger Games, she and Peeta are forced into competing a second time with other past winners. They team up with a few other tributes and manage to destroy the arena and escape the Games. Katniss is transported to District 13, a place that is widely thought to no longer exist, but Peeta is captured by the Capitol.

:84: Mockingjay: Mockingjay, the third and final book, centers around Katniss and the districts' rebellion against the Capitol. Katniss, now a refugee in District 13, demands the right to kill President Snow. Peeta and the others who were captured by the Capitol are rescued by a party including Gale, but Peeta's memories have been "hijacked" with the use of tracker jacker venom, which causes him to hate Katniss. He tries to kill Katniss, but is restrained. Finally, a group including Katniss, Gale, and a normalized Peeta go to the Capitol on a mission to assassinate President Snow. Before Katniss can reach him, her little sister Prim is killed in a bombing. Snow later tells Katniss that Coin, the president of District 13, was behind the bombing. During Snow's execution Katniss shoots Coin, and later Snow is also found dead, possibly from choking on his own blood. Katniss has a psychotic break, and tries to kill herself while in solitary confinement. Katniss, Peeta, and Haymitch return to District 12, and Katniss eventually begins to recover. In the epilogue, it is revealed that Katniss and Peeta are married and have two children.

The main characters:

gg2 Katniss Everdeen: The protagonist of the series, Katniss competes in the Hunger Games in each of the first two novels and constantly battles between her feelings for both Peeta and Gale. She becomes the face of the districts' rebellion after she unknowingly defies the Capitol in The Hunger Games. Will be played by X-Men first class' Jennifer Lawrence.

alan2 Peeta Mellark: The male tribute from District 12, who has secretly been in love with Katniss since they were children. One day he saved her life by giving her bread from his parents' bakery when her family was starving, thereby risking getting beaten by his mother. Played by Josh Hutcherson, the kid in the movie Zathura!

alan2 Haymitch Abernathy: Katniss and Peeta's drunken friend and mentor for the Games. He won the 50th Hunger Games and is the only living victor from District 12.

gg2 Primrose Everdeen: Primrose, often called just "Prim," is Katniss's 12 year old sister (in Mockingjay, she is 13) who was chosen by lottery to be in the Hunger Games. Katniss volunteers to take her place. Prim is a sweet little child that everyone loves, and she regularly helps their mother heal the sick.

alan2 Gale Hawthorne: Katniss' best friend and fellow huntsman. Gale is fiercely devoted to Katniss, and their relationship borders on romantic throughout the series. He is two years older than her, and lost his father in the same mine explosion that killed Katniss' father. Will be played by Miley Cyrus' ex, Liam Hemsworth!

alan2 President Snow: The main antagonist of the series, President Snow is the head of the Capitol and all of Panem. Provoked by the survival of two tributes in a single Hunger Games, Snow demands that Peeta and Katniss prove that the reason behind it all was just they were madly in love.
